STEP 5/5: REGISTRATION AND PUBLICATION

After verification, EPDs can be registered and published by EPD Australasia. Once published the EPD will also appear in the EPD library of the International EPD® System, ensuring world-wide visibility.

To register a new EPD, the following documents must be provided to the Secretariat:

  • A completed EPD Registration Form
  • A verification report from an approved verifier. For construction products EPDs compliant with PCR EN 15804, a special verification template must be used
  • A final version of the EPD in PDF format
  • A short product description (around 200 words) and high-res image to be used on the EPD Australasia and International EPD® System databases.
  • The registering company or product logo (only required in the case of the first EPD registration).

Upon receiving all the documentation, the EPD Registrant will be invoiced for an EPD registration fee and the first year’s annual fee. Current fees are here.

The EPD will then be registered, the applicant will receive a formal confirmation and the EPD will be published on the EPD Australasia and the International EPD® System websites.

The EPD Australasia logo may then be used in promotional material in accordance with the Rules for the Use of the EPD Australasia Logotype and Guidance on Claims.
