Reminder: Sunset Date for Characterisation Factors

A reminder that the sunset date for characterisation factors based on EF 3.0 is 31^st August 2024,

This is a reminder to verifiers and EPD/LCA consultants that the transition period for migrating from EF3.0 to EF3.1 characterisation factors finishes on 31^st August 2024.

From 1^st September 2024, only the EF3.1 factors can be used in software and reporting in newly published EPDs.

For more information, please refer to the International EPD System website Section 5.4.5 of the Construction Products PCR 2019:14 v1.3.4

Note that the validity of already published EPDs is not affected.
