A key responsibility of EPD Australasia is ensuring that EPDs published through the Programme are credible, transparent and compliant with international standards. By managing publication, we help maintain reliable, publicly accessible, up-to-date and trustworthy environmental information for users involved in procurement and decision-making.
To help ensure users have access to the most current EPD versions, EPD owners are encouraged to avoid self-publishing copies of their EPDs and instead direct users to the official versions available through the EPD Australasia database and/or EPD International’s EPD Library. This approach helps avoid confusion caused by outdated, invalid, or obsolete versions of EPDs.
If EPD owners share EPDs on their website, they should include a clear statement (which may include a hyperlink) directing users to the latest version of their EPDs. The link can direct users to:

External access to EPDs is permitted when EPD Australasia’s Terms of Service and EPD International’s General Terms of Use are respected, including via API requests.
