EPD Australasia is pleased to announce the approval of three new independent verifiers for our programme. We congratulate Lindita Bushi, PhD, Viktor Hakkarainen, and Sazal Kundu, and welcome their extensive skills and knowledge in the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) fields.
The market acceptance of EPDs relies on the publication of environmental information that is both reliable and trustworthy. To ensure this, the underlying data, data handling, and the EPD itself are subjected to rigorous independent verification. All verifiers must demonstrate expertise and meet competency requirements in Life Cycle methodologies and the critical review of LCA studies, as defined in the General Programme Instructions.
