Bigs news out of the USA with USD250 million allocated to manufacturers of construction materials to develop and verify EPDs, related technical assistance and “other activities that assist in measuring, reporting, and steadily reducing the quantity of embodied carbon of construction materials and products.”
The Inflation Reduction Act 2022 also includes USD100 million for labelling low embodied carbon construction materials and products.
