EPD Australasia

Demand for EPDs continues to grow

33 businesses joined the programme and 865 new EPDs published

EPD Australasia continues to expand, with 33 companies joining the programme between December 2025 and the end of June 2026. During this period, we published the first Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for 17 new programme members, and a total of 865 new EPDs and 311 updated EPDs across the programme.

The new programme members represent a broad cross-section of the building and construction industry, with EPDs published for products ranging from bamboo, cement and concrete to steel products, aluminium, cladding, timber, insulation, pipes and adhesives. This reflects the high demand for verified environmental information across the Australian and New Zealand construction sectors.

865 new EPDs and 311 updated EPDs

In addition to welcoming new programme members, 865 new EPDs and 311 updated EPDs were published for 48 existing programme members.

Many of the updated EPDs were mandatory renewals following the end of their five-year validity period, ensuring continued compliance with the latest Construction Products Product Category Rules (PCR). This includes updated EPDs for BlueScope, which has been part of the programme for more than 10 years.
