Are you exporting construction products to Europe? Do you know your DPPs (Digital Product Passports) from your DoCPs (Declarations of Performance & Conformity)? If not, now’s the time to get familiar with the updated Construction Products Regulation (CPR).
A key change in the revised CPR is the requirement to assess a broader range of environmental aspects of products, along with the digitalisation of the reporting document. There is also a timetable for declaring environmental performance characteristics of products – starting with climate change effects – and EPDs will play an important role in supporting compliance.
A great place to begin to understand the requirements is with ECO Platform’s FREE four-part ECO webinar CPR series, all of which are available for viewing (with downloadable presentations) on their website. The topics include:
ECO Webinar #1: Will EPDs Become Mandatory?
ECO Webinar #2: Do we still need EPDs?
ECO Webinar #3: Decoding the New CPR
ECO Webinar #4: Digital Product Passport (DPP)
