EPDs published November – December 2023

It has been a quieter November and December with our Programme publishing two EPDs for new members, Laminex New Zealand and Wagners, five EPDs for existing members Hymix and Hanson, and two updated EPDs for Boral and APL Window Solutions.

Published EPDs

Laminex New Zealand’s EPD is for Superfine® Particleboard –  Superfine® and Superfine MR® are medium-density, grainless, resin-bonded particleboard panels finished with a fine uniform surface. The panels are manufactured at Laminex® Taupo using renewable New Zealand Radiata Pine sawdust and shavings from a neighbouring sawmill. These products carry Eco Choice Aotearoa Certification. Wagners‘ EPD is for Square Hollow Pultruded GFRP Section WGN-S1000 – their Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) structural pultrusion is a highly adaptable product suitable for a wide range of industries, including electrical distribution, civil, and marine applications. Download Wagners’ EPD.

We have published two more EPDs for Hymix. One for their HySustain – High Performance/Low Carbon Concrete (New South Wales – Sydney) and the other for HySustain – High Performance/Low Carbon concrete (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast). Download all the EPDs for Hymix.

Hanson’s three new EPDs are for ECOTERA® – High Performance/ Low Carbon Concrete (Victoria – Melbourne Metro), ECOTERA® – High Performance/ Low Carbon Concrete (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast) and one for Stephen Little Constructions – Project Mixes (Tasmania – Hobart). Updated EPDs have also been published for Boral’s NSW/ACT Pre-mix Concrete and APL Window Solutions Aluminium Windows and Doors. Each of these EPDs includes a description of the changes in the updated documents.

All these EPDs have been independently verified as meeting the Construction Product PCR based on best practice EN15804 +A2 issued by the International EPD System.
