APL Window Solutions – Aluminium Windows and doors

APL Window Solutions (APL) is the largest window solutions organisation in New Zealand and has been proudly family owned and NZ Made for over 50 years. APL has grown alongside their manufacturers to bring quality architecture and building to every corner of the country. Since 1971, APL have been successfully designing, developing, testing and manufacturing window and door systems for their three brands: Altherm Window Systems, First Windows & Doors and Vantage Windows & Doors.

While APL’s headquarters are in the Waikato, their extensive network of branches, staff and manufacturers spreads across Aotearoa.

This Environmental Product Declaration covers APL aluminium windows and doors assembled from extruded coated/ anodised aluminium profiles with thermal breaks and Architectural Glass Products (AGP). These products span across three product ranges:

• Metro Series ThermalHEART®
• Commercial Series

APL’s leading thermal performance is designed and made right here for warmer, drier, healthier Kiwi homes. The ThermalHEART® nylon barrier insulates the frame of the window system, separating warm and cold areas and delivers almost double the thermal performance of standard double glazing.
