EPD Australasia

CSR Martini, Downer Rail, The NZ Merino Company and Woven Image Join Australasian EPD

This month we welcome four new companies to the Australasian EPD family.

CSR Martini Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated business with over 20 years experience manufacturing environmentally sustainable, high-quality polyester fibre products. When the company expanded to produce high performance products specifically engineered to control noise in buildings, they decided to bolster their environmental credentials with the publication of an EPD.

The EPD which includes a wide range of products and references the PCR for construction products: thermal insulation can be viewed here.

Downer is Australia’s leading provider of passenger rolling stock asset management services responsible on flagship projects including Melbourne Metro’s fleet of 65 high capacity trains which will enter service from mid-2019.

The New Zealand Merino Company aims to transform the sheep industry from faceless commodities to premium global brands. The company works to drive value for New Zealand’s’ growers by creating consumer demand for merino brands at retail.

Woven Image are a global supplier of high performance textiles and stylish interior solutions for commercial interiors including offices, hotels, restaurants, airports and theatres.

Downer Rail, NZ Merino and Woven Image are in the process of finalising their first EPDs. Watch this space!
