At a visit to a Wellington hotel earlier this year, EPD Australasia’s Chair, Stephen Mitchell spotted the EPD Australasia logo on a package of TORK toilet tissue. Congratulations to Asaleo Care for recognising the value of promoting their environmental credential on-pack, including the EPD Australasia logo.
As the world becomes increasingly focussed on the importance of sustainability and looks to companies to lift their environmental game, it makes sense to let consumers and customers know about your efforts to be environmentally responsible.
If your business has invested the time and money to genuinely measure the cradle to grave environmental impacts of your products and published a verified EPD, we encourage you to let the world know.
To assist, we have developed a toolkit for the use of the EPD Australasia logotype and claims. Contact the Secretariat if you would like any further assistance or apply for a licence.
