EPD Australasia

Welcome Bureau Veritas as an accredited EPD process certifier

We welcome Bureau Veritas Australia & New Zealand as an accredited provider of EPD process certification for the EPD Australasia Programme.

The market acceptance of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) relies on the publication of environmental information that is reliable and trustworthy. The underlying data, the data handling and the EPD itself are therefore subject to independent verification.

EPD process certifiers independently verify that an organisation’s internal processes create EPDs according to the International EPD System General Programme Instructions and EPD Australasia’s regional annex. Only accredited certification bodies are allowed to certify an organisation’s EPD process.

Bureau Veritas provides a broad portfolio of testing, inspection and certification services throughout Australia and New Zealand through over 2,000 highly skilled, dedicated employees. They are well placed to certify the growing number of companies that are implementing internal processes to create EPDs.

Leveraging its renowned expertise, as well as its impartiality, integrity and independence, Bureau Veritas Group has helped build trust between companies, public authorities, and consumers for almost 200 years.
