Have your say on default product emission factors for the NABERS Embodied Carbon tool

We recently attended an excellent information online session run by NABERS and thinkstep-anz about developing default mission factors for building products and materials. The following topics were presented:

  • The emissions data methodology NABERS proposed in the public consultation paper and the feedback they received.
  • How product emission factors will be used in the rating tool.
  • The process that will be used to develop default product emission factors.
  • How NABERS are inviting you to participate in this process.
  • Q&A.

If you want to know more and missed the live session, watch the recording here.

Submit your Feedback by 15 September

During the development phase, NABERS must define the default emission factors to use where no verified product-specific data is available. NABERS is seeking input on the process they’ll use to develop the default carbon emission factors. They’re keen to hear thoughts and suggestions from the industry and invite you to complete this survey by Friday 15 September.
