EPD Australasia

The EPD rush is on: 9 new, 4 updated

The pre-Christmas rush saw the publication of nine new EPDs by Australian and New Zealand businesses and updates of four EPDs.

We welcome Oji Fibre Solutions, New Zealand Structural Insulated Panels, Envirocon NZ, BGC Quarries, BGC Cement and Steel Mains as the latest members of the EPD Australasia community, with the publication of their first EPDs.

Oji Fibre Solutions’ three EPDs cover K25 Fibre Cement Pulp (FCP) and Unbleached Kraft Pulp (UKP) manufactured at the Tasman Mill in Kawerau, New Zealand for use in fibre cement building products, corrugated board and speciality papers. The life cycle scope is forestry, pulp making, distribution to a typical market destination and assumed end-of-life.
