The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) is the peak professional body for built environment cost professionals who work on the client or contractor side. AIQS is working with stakeholders to develop a national framework for measuring, certifying, and benchmarking emissions from construction and building materials. One of their members Slattery is leading in this space and launched an Upfront Embodied Carbon Benchmarks report earlier in the year which uses EPDs as one of the credible sources of data.
