EPD Australasia

Extension to validity period for Construction PCR 2012:01

EPD International has decided to extend the validity period for our PCR 2012:01 Construction products and construction services and all associated sub-PCRs that follow the old version of EN 15804 (EN 15804:2012+A1:2013) for a further 12 months until 31 December 2021 to allow for a smooth transition to the new version of EN 15804 (EN 15804:2012+A2:2019).
Organisations are still strongly encouraged to follow the new construction product PCR (PCR 2019:14) wherever possible. The validity period of EPDs based on PCRs that follow the old EN15804(A1) remains at 5 years. EPD Australasia will issue a technical guidance note in the coming weeks with more information.
