Technical Advisory Group issues guidance on use of background LCI data

The Australasian EPD Programme’s Technical Advisory Group today issued a new guidance note on the selection of background life cycle inventory (LCI) data for use in a life cycle assessment (LCA) study intended to be published through an Australasian EPD.

The guidance document emphasises the importance of using data of adequate quality and recommends independently verified data is referenced wherever possible.
