Reinforced Concrete Pipes Australia (RCPA) – Steel Reinforced Concrete Pipes
Reinforced Concrete Pipes Australia (RCPA)
Reinforced Concrete Pipes Australia (RCPA) produces a range of steel reinforced concrete pipes for use in stormwater drainage infrastructure. RCPA introduced modern dry-cast concrete pipe production technology to Australia nearly 30 years ago and has grown from strength to strength since that time.
Today, RCPA manufactures SRC pipe from diameters 225mm up to 2700mm across Australia. Pipes are produced using a combination of high-strength concrete with reinforcing steel with a high recycled content. On-site batching of concrete reduces transport costs and wastage, and in-house fabrication of steel reinforcing cages utilising specialised welding equipment results in high levels of quality control.
The vertical casting production methods used at RCPA factories minimise energy consumption and waste generation while achieving high outputs. All pipes produced are designed to achieve a 100-year service life, giving confidence to asset owners that steel reinforced concrete pipes made by RCPA will be performing for generations to come.
