Nu-Wall® Cladding (powder coated ancillaries)
Nu-Wall Cladding
Nu-Wall weatherboards and ancillaries are locally manufactured in New Zealand from 6063-T5 or 6060-T5 aluminium alloy. The ancillaries can be supplied with a powder-coated finish to a maximum length of 9m, with an average powder thickness of 80 microns (μm)
Powder coating is the industrial coating process where the freshly extruded Nu-Wall boards (mill finish) are passed through a pretreatment process, then a plastic resin powder coating is electrostatically applied and baked off in a high-temperature curing oven, producing a hard-wearing, resilient coating that is both abrasion and UV resistant.
Nu-Wall ancillaries can be powder coated in any colour from the Dulux or Interpon colour ranges. Both manufacturers offer coating warranties of up to 25 years.
