New Zealand Structural Insulated Panels – Smart Panels
New Zealand Structural Insulated Panels
NZSIP Smart Panels is a building system using structural insulated panels (SIPs) for walls, roofs and floors.
NZSIP Smart Panels are manufactured out of Strandboard facings with a factory foam injected polyurethane insulation (PUR) core. The panels are 115mm, 165mm or 215 mm thick, nominally 1205 mm wide, with standard lengths up to 3.6 m. Panels can also be manufactured to varying lengths and widths depending on their design location. The panels have different types of joinery depending on function. Wall panels use camlocks, floor panels use timber joists and roof panels use timber rafter and end plates where required.
The EPD covers structural insulated panel products manufactured by NZSIP ltd at the manufacturing site in Cromwell, New Zealand.
