COLORBOND® steel for insulated panels (XIP) is a steel product designed specifically for the manufacture of insulated panels (sandwich panels) for exterior building use. COLORBOND® steel for insulated panels conforms to standards AS 1397:2021 and AS/NZS 2728:2013.

This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provides data for one flat square metre (1 m2) of COLORBOND® steel for insulated panels manufactured by BlueScope in Australia at base metal thicknesses (BMTs) 0.40, 0.50 and 0.60 mm.
The scope of this EPD is from cradle to gate (modules A1-A3), including end of life (modules C1-C4) and reuse, recovery and/or recycling potential (module D).
