Meet our speakers
Kelly Taylor – CEO, EPD Australasia
Kelly has served as EPD Australasia’s Programme Manager since June 2016 and was appointed CEO in October 2024. She has extensive experience in environmental certifications and has worked previously as an Environmental Management System consultant and auditor accredited with Toitu Enviro-Mark NZ and advising on ISO14001. Kelly has 20 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors in sustainable business. Prior to joining EPD Australasia, Kelly had worked in local government, health, and as an independent consultant and EMS auditor
Cyril Giraud – Chair of EPD Australasia and Head of Sustainability, Planning & Environment at Holcim Australia & New Zealand
With over two decades of experience in the construction materials industry, Cyril Giraud is a seasoned professional who has made significant strides across both European and Australian markets. Currently the Head of Sustainability for Holcim Australia & New Zealand, he oversees the strategy for more than 250 sites, including cement terminals, concrete plants, quarries, and concrete precast factories. His expertise spans critical functional roles in planning and environment approvals, stakeholder engagement, and environment management.Cyril joined the EPD Australasia board in July 2021 and was elected Chair in February 2025.
Philippa (Pip) Stone – Sustainability Manager, BlueScope
Pip joined BlueScope in 2019 as Sustainability Manager with responsibility for the sustainability strategy of BlueScope’s Australian products. Prior to BlueScope, Pip led the sustainability strategy of global construction specialist, ISG and was based in London for 12 years. Pip joined the Board of Directors of EPD Australasia in 2020. Pip is a Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability. She holds a B. Liberal Studies from the University of Sydney and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge.
Andrew D. Moore – Technical Advisor to EPD Australasia and Principal of Life Cycle Logic
Andrew is a Certified LCA Practitioner (LCACP) with over 18 years of experience in the LCA sector. He founded Life Cycle Logic in 2014, where he works as the Principal Sustainability Scientist, focusing on using LCA to help organisations across industries - including construction materials, agriculture, mining, energy, food, and fashion - make data-driven decisions to enhance sustainability. His consultancy provides services such as carbon footprint analysis, environmental product declarations, and life cycle inventory data preparation, alongside training and workshops to develop in-house sustainability capabilities.
Andrea Davies – Sustainability Manager, Laminex Australia
Andrea has more than 15 years’ experience across the building, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Her expertise spans sustainability strategy, industry collaboration, and connecting business objectives with environmental and social impact. Before joining Laminex, Andrea was a Senior Green Building and Strategy Specialist at sustainability consultancy thinkstep-anz. She is a Green Star Accredited Professional and a former corporate lawyer.
Jeremy Mansfield – Principal, Mansfield Advisory
Jeremy is a well-respected leader in the construction industry with an impeccable track record in helping organisations embrace sustainability actions. With 32 years in the construction industry, 26 with Lendlease and the last 16 years in Sustainability management roles he Jeremy has a vast network across government, business and civil society, holding roles in industry, university and on not-for-profit boards. Jeremy has deep insight into creating and implementing sustainability business strategy and was recognised with Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2021 for his contribution to the construction industry.
Eliza Morawska – Engagement Lead, Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA)
Eliza builds strong relationships with GBCA members, industry stakeholders, and partners to drive sustainable outcomes across the built environment and accelerate market transformation. With a background in architecture and more than a decade of experience as a sustainability consultant, she brings a deep understanding of sustainable design, strategy, and implementation. Eliza holds a Master of Environmental Management, specialising in sustainable development, and is passionate about connecting people, ideas, and opportunities to create a more sustainable built environment.
Steve Mitchell – Director Advocacy & Marketing, EPD Australasia
Steve is a sustainability professional with over three decades of experience working with community organisations, state government and industry. He is a specialist in sustainable constructions products, waste recovery, and LCA-based environmental declarations for building and construction products. Steve has been a Director of EPD Australasia since 2015.
