Laminex Australia operates manufacturing facilities across four states, producing high-pressure laminate, compact laminate and wet-area panelling, decorated MDF for cabinetry doors, and raw particleboard and MDF.
In this webinar, Andrea will share Laminex’s learnings from life cycle assessment and the development of their latest Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). She will also discuss how the business works with other certifications to meet Green Star Responsible Products requirements.

Meet our speakers
Andrea Davies, Laminex Australia
Andrea is the National Sustainability Manager at Laminex Australia and has more than 15 years’ experience across the building, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors. Her expertise spans sustainability strategy, industry collaboration, and connecting business objectives with environmental and social impact.Before joining Laminex, Andrea was a Senior Green Building and Strategy Specialist at sustainability consultancy thinkstep-anz. She is a Green Star Accredited Professional and a former corporate lawyer.
Stephen Mitchell, EPD Australasia
Stephen will facilitate the session. He has worked in the field of sustainability for over 22 years and has been a Director of EPD Australasia since 2016. He is a specialist in LCA-based environmental certification for building and construction products and sustainable timber and wood products. Stephen advises Australian and New Zealand importers on due diligence for illegal logged wood and is a qualified Lead Auditor for FSC®, PEFC and Responsible Wood Chain of Custody certification.
