BlueScope
GALVASPAN® steel is a hot-dipped zinc-coated structural steel product. GALVASPAN® steel has been developed for cold forming into a wide range of purlin and girt specifications. Purlins and girts made from GALVASPAN® steel are widely used in commercial and industrial buildings, sheds, garages, warehouses, and distribution centres. GALVASPAN® steel conforms to the relevant Australian Standards AS/NZS 1365:1996 (R2016) and AS 1397:2021.

This EPD provides data for one flat square metre (1 m2) of GALVASPAN® steel manufactured by BlueScope in Australia with a zinc coating class of Z350 at certain base metal thicknesses (BMTs) ranging from 1.00 to 3.00 mm.
The scope of this EPD is from cradle to gate (modules A1-A3), including end of life (modules C1-C4) and reuse, recovery and/or recycling potential (module D). It includes an extension of the modules A1-A3 to provide indicative results for the final formed product up to the rollformer gate.
