Boral Cement manufactures and supplies a wide range of cementitious products used by the building and construction industries of Australia. These products include both ‘bulk’ and ‘bagged’ cements, cement blends, and dry mixes with a variety of applications.

Shrinkage Limited Cement can replace General Purpose (GP) cement in all applications and should be used where a lower drying shrinkage is required. Shrinkage Limited Cement is commonly used in general and major construction projects and specialised applications such as concrete road construction. SL cement complies with AS 3972, type SL. It is manufactured from specially prepared Shrinkage Limited clinker, gypsum and limestone mineral addition.

SL cement is a bulk product and is a fine, dry, grey powder. Once manufactured on site, it is stored in silos. SL cement is then transferred directly into powder tankers and then transported to external customers or other Boral sites. It is typically then loaded into another storage silo on site via pneumatic pressure.
