BarChip MQ58 Macro Synthetic Fibre Concrete Reinforcement from BarChip Inc.

BarChip MQ58 is a high performance macro synthetic fibre (MSF) concrete reinforcement developed for flooring and paving applications. It provides a single-fibre solution that delivers shrinkage crack control, post-crack residual strength and a fibre-free surface finish, making it an ideal alternative to conventional steel reinforcement and blended fibre systems.

BarChip MQ58 works by dispersing a unique multi-strand fibre throughout the concrete mix. During mixing, the bonded strands separate into multiple filaments to create a uniform, three-dimensional reinforcement system across the slab. This structure effectively controls shrinkage cracking, provides reliable residual strength after cracking and minimises fibre visibility at the surface, resulting in durable slabs with improved finish quality.

BarChip MQ58 is supported by dedicated technical and design assistance. BarChip specialists work with project teams to optimise dosage, mix design and placement methods, helping deliver efficient, low-risk flooring and paving solutions with consistent performance on site.
