BarChip 48, BarChip 54 and BarChip 60 Macro Synthetic Fibre Concrete Reinforcement from BarChip Inc.
BarChip Inc.
BarChip macro synthetic fibre (MSF) concrete reinforcement is a corrosion free, high performance reinforcement solution used as crack control and structural reinforcement in concrete and shotcrete. BarChip is manufactured in various lengths and configurations, each designed to deliver optimal performance for a specific concrete application.
BarChip works by distributing hundreds of thousands of high tensile strength fibres throughout the entire concrete mix. They reinforce every part of the concrete structure, leaving no vulnerable unreinforced concrete cover. The BarChip reinforcement system is engaged at the onset of micro cracking, controls crack propagation and minimises crack width. The end result is a concrete structure that is more durable, more ductile and faster to produce.
BarChip is more than just a fibre supplier. For over 20 years BarChip has been the industry leader in the development of MSF technology, from fibre design and manufacturing to best practice during final product production and application. BarChip experts work with our partners at all stages of a project, providing assistance with engineering design, concrete mix design, quality control, application and more.
