EPD Australasia is excited to be part of the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance MECLA – a collaborative effort to reduce embodied carbon in the building and construction industry.
We are in good company with over 100 organisations from across the supply chain working collectively to gain a better understanding of barriers to uptake and find the solutions that will be vital to achieving a zero-carbon economy.

We have also joined the Infrastructure Sustainability Council – a member-based, purpose-led peak body working in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand to enable sustainability outcomes in infrastructure.
As part of our ISC membership, we have also joined the Sustainable Materials Technical Working Group. EPDs are providing vital verified data for infrastructure project developers to measure and reduce the environmental impact of their projects.
