EPD Australasia

Communicating LCA and EPD results

Join us in Auckland for an in person event in partnership with LCANZ

This webinar/event was held on: April 16, 2026

EPD Australasia, in partnership with the Life Cycle Association of New Zealand (LCANZ), is hosting a half-day summit focused on communicating Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) results with clarity and confidence.

Bringing together practitioners, EPD owners and users, and sustainability leaders, the session will explore how to translate complex environmental data into meaningful insights – and how to build a compelling business case for sustainability.

Practical insights across sectors

This year’s program is designed to provide practical guidance on communicating LCA and EPD results effectively, including:

  • Translating complexity: Moving beyond technical jargon to present findings in plain language that resonate with executive leadership and procurement teams
  • Sector-specific narratives: Examining how transparency and data-sharing are evolving across diverse industries – from agriculture and healthcare to technology and the built environment.
  • Internal influence: Using LCA and EPD results to drive cultural change and operational shifts within an organisation.
  • External credibility: Navigating the requirements for external reporting and stakeholder engagement without falling into the traps of over-simplification or greenwashing.
  • Using EPDs: Communicate verified LCA results in a standardised format.

Speakers will represent a range of industries, including energy, agri-food, building and construction, healthcare, and strategy and technology. Presenters include representatives from organisations such as BraveTrace, New Zealand Wine, Laminex, APL Windows, Fisher & Paykel and The Lever Room, alongside EPD Australasia representatives including Kelly Taylor, Steve Mitchell and Andrew D. Moore.
