Hot Rolled Structural and Rail

This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) covers the environmental impacts of 1 tonne of Liberty Primary Steel manufactured structural and rail products.

These products are manufactured to the following Australian Standards and are generally used in the construction, manufacturing and rail infrastructure industries;

1) AS/NZS 3679.1 Structural Steel Part 1: Hot-rolled bars and sections

2)AS 1085.1 Railway track material. Part 1: Steel rails

3)AS1085.17 Railway track material. Part 17: Steel sleepers

Our products manufactured to AS/NZS 3679 are third-party certified by the Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels (ACRS) to independently confirm they consistently meet the requirements of the Standard.

This EPD is an update of the original OneSteel EPD, released in November 2016.

Material Circularity Indicator (MCI) metrics have been developed and included for the products covered in this EPD.
